CRS is pleased to have signed another second year driver in Michael Lyons. ‘Mick’ drove the satellite CRS car in last year’s Formula Renault UK Championship but will join the main team for 2010 as he continues his single-seater career.

“I’m very pleased to be racing with CRS again this year,” commented Mick. “Last year was a real learning experience as it was my first full season in modern motorsport. The team did a great job for me and hopefully with the experience gained though the season and over the winter I should be able to go into the new season as one of the contenders for the podium.”

Robert Foster-Jones is the 2009 KF1 MSA Super 1 British Champion and he has chosen CRS as the team to take him from karting to cars. The 19 year-old from Southend-on-Sea is planning to attack the 2010 championship head on.

“The transition from karts to cars is hard so I’m pleased that I’ve taken to it so well during winter testing.  I chose CRS as they seem to be the most professional team and I immediately feel at home here.  I’m 19 now so time isn’t exactly on my side. I’m hoping I can just do one season in Formula Renault so I want to hit the ground running in April and finish the championship in the top three.”

Harry and Robert will be at Autosport International this week where they will be competing in the CRS Racing team in David Brabham’s Celebrity Karting Challenge tomorrow afternoon (Friday).  The race will be broadcast on www.radiolemans.com from 3pm, with live timing available at www.tsl-timing.com.
